New partnership with Netgenium gives resellers access to ‘door-to-desktop’ integrated IP-based security and power-saving technologies

Newmarket, 23rd March 2009: COMPUTERLINKS, a leading global distributor of IT security and Internet technology solutions, today announced it has been appointed as a distributor for Netgenium Systems Ltd in the UK and Ireland.  The agreement gives resellers access to the entire Netgenium range of access control and intelligent building products in addition to COMPUTERLINKS’ existing IP Physical Security portfolio, which includes IP surveillance products and open platform IP video management software.

Netgenium’s products, such as its unique IP lock controller, all use Power over Ethernet (PoE) and are designed to be connected and installed by an IT professional. Its ‘Policy Server’ appliance manages IP telephony devices and IP lighting controllers, providing energy savings and combined physical and logical access security.

With the addition of PoE technology and its background in IP and data network security, COMPUTERLINKS can now provide door-to-desktop security with real energy-saving benefits. COMPUTERLINKS will provide full on-site pre-sales consultancy for Netgenium’s products including product demonstrations, site surveys, training and configuration, ensuring resellers have full logistical and technical support to realise the revenue opportunities within this emerging market.
